    DANIEL

    Hello Ian,

How long will this course be available? My wife and I had a baby a few months ago so I am not having that much free time to finish the course.
PS: i haven’t given up on the course and I do want to take part II, III, IV and so on.
    Cheers,
    Daniel

    • Ian Juby

      Hi Daniel!
The course is available indefinitely. It’s supposed to be “lifetime access,” though the definition of lifetime is the vague part. But it’ll be available for years at least.

    Voltage Regulators

    Devin St. Clair

Hey Ian, I can’t seem to find 7803 and 04s, I see 7805s, and I read the variable LM317 can be a stand in. Do you have any suggestions, I see mostly 7805 packs, which I know are 5v and not 3v and 4v (is the 04 4v?)

    • Ian Juby

      Good morning!
7805 would be fine – while a 3.3V regulator would be nice for later on, don’t worry about it for now. We actually don’t even use the regulator except in practice. And the 7800’s and 7900’s are so common that if you were building a voltage regulator circuit, you would use one of those. And they are so simple to use you will literally have the circuit memorized. 😀
So just skip getting that part altogether.
